Amanda Deng, BA

I am a master’s student in the Biomedical Informatics Program at Harvard Medical School. I am interested in developing computational methods for analyzing spatial transcriptomics data, particularly in cell segmentation. I graduated from WashU with degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science, where I analyzed the association between maternal enterovirus presence and the risk of congenital heart disease in newborns. Outside of the lab, I love dancing, watching plays and films, and exploring the performing arts.
