Hongcheng Yao, PhD

I’m a postdoctral research fellow working on method development and data analysis for single cell sequencing data and spatial transcriptomics data. I joined the Korsunsky lab in 2023. I obtained my PhD in Bioinformatics and computational statistics with Prof. Pak Sham at the University of Hong Kong where I focused on the prediction of regulatory variants integrating multi-omics data. Outside of lab, I play badminton whenever my knees allow.
